In Ayurveda, late winter and spring are known as Kapha season. When balanced, Kapha gives strength, structure and immunity to the body. During this time of year it’s beneficial to stay moving, wake up early (the hardest for me 😅) and adjust your diet to the new season. 
This helps to prevent you from feeling lethargic or stagnant. Spring ultimately encourages regrowth, new intentions + new ideas, so use this inspirational shift to your advantage. Envision the specific kinds of changes that would most deeply benefit you and set specific goals for achieving your dreams. ✨

Many of us are feeling stressed out, uncertain and overstimulated with news / social media, which leaves us in a chronic state of fight or flight response.

Breathing in and out through the nose helps us take fuller, deeper breaths, which stimulates the lower lung to distribute greater amounts of oxygen throughout the body. Also, the lower lung is rich with the parasympathetic nerve receptors associated with calming the body and mind, whereas the upper lungs — which are stimulated by chest breathing — trigger sympathetic nerve receptors, which result in the fight or flight reaction.

-Air that we inhale through the nose passes through the nasal mucosa, which stimulates the reflex nerves that control breathing. Mouth breathing bypasses the nasal mucosa and makes regular breathing difficult, which can lead to snoring, breath irregularities and sleep apnea.

-Breathing through the nose forces us to slow down until proper breath is trained; therefore, proper nose breathing reduces hypertension and stress.

Es recontra fácil y lleva ingredientes que seguro tenés en la alacena.

Vas a necesitar, por un lado:
•70 ml de aceite de girasol (son 3 cucharadas soperas maso)
•200 g de azúcar mascabo.
•4 cucharadas de gel de lino (o si lo queres con huevos son 2 🥚)
•200 g de banana pisada (son 2 o 3 🍌)
Hasta ahí mezclas todo.

Aparte:
•200 g de harina integral (1 taza)
•1 cucharadita de bicarbonato y otra de polvo de hornear para que te quede bien esponjoso 👌✨Si usas harina leudante no le pongas esto. •Leche de coco casera o agua para ligar, cantidad suficiente, vas viendo!

Preparación: Mezcla todo y anda agregando el líquido de a poco. .
🍋Podés aromatizar con vainilla, canela, naranja o limón.
🥥Podés aportar frutos secos y/o coco rallado. Personalízalo 100% a tus gustos!

Creá con ❤️ y deja volar la imaginación.

Una vez que está lista la masa (medio viscosa), la ponés en un molde para horno, previamente aceitado y enharinado 🥧 Lo vas a cocinar en horno precalentado a fuego mediano, hasta que esté firme.
Te das cuenta que está cuando lo pinchas con el cuchillo o un palito y sale limpio, sin masa adherida. 〰️
❗️No se te ocurra desmoldarlo en caliente porque se rompe y vas a 😭

🧑🏽‍🍳Si te queres mandar la masterchefeada, cuando esté medio crudo-medio cocido agrégale una banana cortada al medio por encima o nueces picadas, queda súper lindo!

Lay on your back with legs at 90'/ legs up wall yoga pose and trace the entire alphabet with your ankles. Feel the burn! Begin massaging the base of your little toe, to base of the fourth toe, etc to the big toe. Next, apply medium pressure and massage in between toes, little toe to big toe. Massage, stretch and pull the big toe gently, work each side of the nail. Work down to massage the ball of your foot in a circular motion and continue circles while working down to the the heel, do this down entire width of foot from base of toes to heel. Use pressure points throughout the heel and apply pressure on each side of heel to break-up stagnation. Continue with freestyle massage, focus on working out areas of tension and notice how much lighter you feel. Sat nam. 🙏

Ama que en sanscrito significa, “lo que daña”, cubre las paredes de la célula y en combinación con los doshas alteran la estabilidad de los tejidos, interfieren con sus funciones y desequilibran la salud. Algunos de los signos corporales que revelan presencia de amas son: lengua cubierta de una capa, mal aliento, fuerte olor corporal y agotamiento o cansancio.

Por qué se genera Ama además de por la alimentación? 
1) Pragya aparadha: error intelectual, saber lo que debemos hacer y no hacerlo.
2) Avydia: ignorancia, desconocimiento de como debemos vivir.
3) Parinama: causas - efectos. Como el tiempo, la epoca del año, la edad e inclusive las catastrofes naturales.
4) Karmaja: debido al Karma, por ejemplo: enfermedadas heredadas o heridas emocionales traspasadas, tendencias negativas e inclusive un desequilibrio en tu propio Dosha.

El Ama, se relaciona con los atributos: untuoso, frío y pegajoso.Para eliminar el Ama, se deben eliminar los alimentos que tengan estos atributos. El atributo ideal para combatir el Ama es el caliente.

In the wake of the Covid 19 outbreak, entire mankind across the globe is suffering. Enhancing the body’s natural defence system (immunity) plays an important role in maintaining optimum health. We all know that prevention is better than cure. While there is no medicine for COVID-19 as of now, it will be good to take preventive measures which boost our immunity in these times.  General Measures
1. Drink warm water throughout the day.
2. Daily practice of Yogasana, Pranayama and meditation for at least 30 minutes.
3. Spices like Turmeric, Cumin, and Garlic are recommended in cooking.

Ayurvedic Immunity Promoting Measures
1. Take Chyavanprash 10gm (1tsf) in the morning. Diabetics should take sugar free Chyavanprash.
2. Drink herbal tea / decoction (Kadha) made from Tulsi (Basil), Cinnamon, Black pepper, Dry Ginger and Raisin - once or twice a day. Add natural sugar and /
or fresh lemon juice to your taste, if needed.
3. Golden Milk- Half tea spoon Turmeric powder in 150 ml hot milk - once or twice a day.  Simple Ayurvedic Procedures
1. Nasal application - Apply sesame oil / coconut oil or Ghee in both the nostrils in morning and evening.
2. Oil pulling therapy- Take 1 table spoon sesame or coconut oil in mouth. Do not drink, Swish in the mouth for 2 to 3 minutes and spit it off, followed by warm water rinse. This can be done once or twice a day.  During dry cough / sore throat
1. Steam inhalation with fresh Mint leaves or Caraway seeds can be practiced once in a day.
2. Clove powder mixed with natural sugar / honey can be taken 2-3 times a day in case of cough or throat irritation.
These measures generally treat normal dry cough and sore throat. However, it is best to consult doctors if these symptoms persist.
The above measures can be followed to the extent possible as per an individual’s
convenience

突然ぽこっと現れる岩の上に築かれた王国はまさにこの王様の孤独と執念を物語っていて、もっと研究が進んでVRとかで実際にあった宮殿とかみれるようになったらまた行きたいな!ホテルもリーズナブルなのにハイクオリティ!インドで騙された人の話をよく聞いてたから近いスリランカも同じ感じかと心に鎧を着せて挑んだけど全然いい人たち!
そのあとは600km離れたゴールへ。世界遺産に認定されているこの地域にはヨーロッパに統治されていた時代の面影が色濃く残っていました。
あるいて20分のウナワチュナはコンパクトでカラフルで素敵な街!ミコノスをもっと野生的にした感じ笑
アジア人はほぼいない!あーもっとゆっくりしたかった。

Ka reiškia pusryčiai - tai reiškia badavimo nutraukimą tiesiogine žodžio prasme - 'break the fasting', 'breakfast' - 'nutrauk badavimą' po nakties, iš po vakar. Protarpinis badavimas (intermediate fasting), dabar tai pristatoma kaip naujas trend'as, bet jokio čia naujumo nėra, tai yra paprastas organizmo ciklas, kuriuo gyveno mūsu senoliai natūraliai. Tik jis dabar mums yra nepaprastas, nes mūsu receptoriai yra užglaistyti, ir mes iš vartotojiškumo ir tenkinimosi maistu visur - esam pamynę natūralius algoritimus. ⏰Pro-tarpą arba per-tarpą (protarpinis) - tai reiškias jei vakare valgiau 18 val., tai natūralu, kad valgyt norėsiu maždaug jau kitos dienos valandu tarpe 6-10 val., priklauso dar individualiai kada keliuosi ir t.t.) t.y. po 12-16 val., kas ir yra protarpinio badavimo rekomendacija. Jei pavalgiau 21 val., tai natūraliai norėsis apie kitos dienos 9-13 val. Matematika paprasta. Vaikystėje vasaromis kaime, mes valgydavom taip: keldavomės 4-6 val., darbas, tada užtarnautas maistas 10 val., tada 13-14 val.pietūs, 16-16:30 vakarienė, ir pusryčiai jau tik kitos dienos 10 val. Tai tarpas dar didesnis - 17 val.! Ir nieks nemirė, buvo drūti, sveiki, dirbo daug, mažai miegojo, ir neužkandžiavo, maistą naudojo tik energijai gauti, kad tęsti darbus. O mes? Patys žinote. Labiau klausykime organizmo, tada reikės mažiau save spausti į įmantriausias terminologijas ar dietu sistemas, įsiliekite į organizmo ritmą. Zutaten:
1 kleine Salatgurke, 150 ml Vollmilch-Joghurt, 2 EL Roh-Rohrzucker, 3 Blätter frische Minze,  Gewürze: 1 Prise Koriander, Salz, 1/2 TL getr. Dill

1️⃣ Gurke schälen und in kleine Würfel schneiden.

2️⃣ Joghurt, Salz, Zucker, Gewürze, gehackte Minzblätter in einer Schüssel vermengen.

3️⃣ Gurkenwürfel unterheben.

4️⃣ Dazu schmecken Ofenkartoffel, scharfe Curries oder Gemüsegerichte. 🌶🥦

ayurveda What is OJAS?
As per narrated in Ayurveda it is the substance existing in every dhatu (tissue) and considered as saar (active principle) of all dhatus from Rasa to Shukra. Ojas is also accountable for the strength of the body. According to Ayurveda, it is one of the most important elements that maintain and sustains life, though Ojas is located in the heart, it pervades all over the body. It controls and regulates the whole working of the body.

According to Ayurvedic texts, Ojas is abundant, you can live happily for a hundred years. These people are strong yet supple, easy to smile, resilient and they glow. All healthy people have great Ojas, the vital essence that promotes health, immunity, happiness and spiritual strength. Some of the main characteristics of people having great Ojas:

1. It is consciousness and purity of thoughts.
2. Feeling positivity in all situations. 
3. Longevity, intelligence, and memory.

Apart from this, you can see other signs in people of abundant Ojas. They have clear radiant eyes, lustrous hair, glowing skin, a strong immune system, a positive outlook on life, joy, mental clarity, and compassion. 
Some other important chractersticks of Ojas:
1. Somatmaka (cool like Moon)
2. Snigdha (oily)
3. Shukla (white in color)
4. Sheetal (cool in nature)
5. Sthira (stable or firm )
6. Sara (flowing)
7. Viviktam (Transparent)
8. Mridu (soft in nature)

ayurveda About Sushruta Samhita ..
•Sushruta Samhita is a unique treatise belonging to the Dhanvantri Sampradaya or the school of surgeons.
•It is unique because it is exclusively devoted to surgery as opposed to other subjects.
•The origin treatise based on the teachings of the Dhanvantri was known as Sushrut tantra and follow the same broad pattern as charaka samhita with respect to the arrangement of chapters.
•Later a supplement was added to the sushrut  tantra known as Uttar-tantra.
•Uttar-tantra was supposed to discuss all subjects not touched on in the sushrut tantra and make the treat is complete in all aspects.
•To give the whole text an appearance of thematic unity, the anonymous author of Uttar-tantra was also dubbed sushruta so that we have sushruta 1 as the author of sushrut tantra and Sushruta 2 as the author of later added uttar-tantra.
•Both these texts were later revised by nagarjuna under the present day title sushrut sanhita.
•Nibandhsamgraha is an excellent commentary on sushrut sahitha and was authored by Dalhan around the 12th century AD.
•The present sushrut sahitha consists of 6 sthanas and 186 chapters.
•In the first 5 sthanas deal almost exclusively with surgery, the last sthana is assigned to deal briefly with the six branches of ayurveda except toxicology or agadatantra.
•Many formulations present in the sushrut samhita have been copied from pre-drudhbala portions of charak samhita and some from the Bhel Samhita.
•From the current text it is not possible to isolate the original sushrut tantra, which place a huge question on the seniority of the text with respect to charak samhita.

About Sushruta Samhita .. •Sushruta Samhita is a unique treatise belonging to the Dhanvantri Sampradaya or the school of surgeons. •It is unique because it is exclusively devoted to surgery as opposed to other subjects. •The origin treatise based on the teachings of the Dhanvantri was known as Sushrut tantra and follow the same broad pattern as charaka samhita with respect to the arrangement of chapters. •Later a supplement was added to the sushrut tantra known as Uttar-tantra. •Uttar-tantra was supposed to discuss all subjects not touched on in the sushrut tantra and make the treat is complete in all aspects. •To give the whole text an appearance of thematic unity, the anonymous author of Uttar-tantra was also dubbed sushruta so that we have sushruta 1 as the author of sushrut tantra and Sushruta 2 as the author of later added uttar-tantra. •Both these texts were later revised by nagarjuna under the present day title sushrut sanhita. •Nibandhsamgraha is an excellent commentary on sushrut sahitha and was authored by Dalhan around the 12th century AD. •The present sushrut sahitha consists of 6 sthanas and 186 chapters. •In the first 5 sthanas deal almost exclusively with surgery, the last sthana is assigned to deal briefly with the six branches of ayurveda except toxicology or agadatantra. •Many formulations present in the sushrut samhita have been copied from pre-drudhbala portions of charak samhita and some from the Bhel Samhita. •From the current text it is not possible to isolate the original sushrut tantra, which place a huge question on the seniority of the text with respect to charak samhita. A: Meaning of A in ayurveda. The letter A has two bars connected at a pointed edge and a cross bar holding them together. From an open end to a pointed edge signifies that all energies are trained to a point to achieve the most singularly important goal. The cross bar shows caution. Failure is avoided by stringing all required resources together. A also looks like a Pyramid with the peak as the apex of the Pyramid. Pyramids are iconic. A therefore symbolizes prominence and a desire to be recognized for ones achievements. The cross bar also represents a rung in ladder. To get to the top, one has to first step on the rung. It also means originality, a strong will power and an enterprising ability. The upper-case version consists of the two slanting sides of a triangle, crossed in the middle by a horizontal bar. It shows aspiration, the dominance to be successful, positive attitude, an optimistic world view and egotism.

Y: Meaning of Y in ayurveda. Y is a mystic character. It lies on one leg spreading two arms out upwards and outwards. Y seems to be yearning for something from above. It is mystic, reserved, affecting yet self-governing. The separate arms shows why is separate and it could also be troublesome if it receives mystical powers.

E: Meaning of E in ayurveda. The letter E has three branches of equal lenghts. These all extend from it's left side. The equal lenghts show a degree of fairness to the outside world. They extend outwards indicating a willingness to learn, think broadly and be more vigorous in understanding. B also implies endowed with good writing abilities, eloquence, resourcefulness.
